In recent years, the progression of technology, consumerism, and ecological destruction has reached an unprecedented and uncontrollable rate. OK The Old Ways is here to keep us grounded during this swift under-tide, and remind us that the ways we used to do things were okay - in fact, they were great. Our understandings around the local environment, food, shelter, and taking care of ourselves and our community were far beyond what most of us can claim today. We don't have to be a part of this crazy vicious cycle of innovation, invention driven by consumerism. Instead, we can take a moment to recognize where we are today, and what our ways were in the past, and perhaps readopt some of those old ways for our lives tomorrow.
